Yoga with live music. Why?
I’ve been practicing yoga for quite some time. I have been working as a professional music producer and songwriter for almost 20 years! And also been practicing yoga for quite some time.
I went to tons of classes. But one particular class 2 years ago really changed my perspective.
Why didn’t I think of this before? It’s so obvious!

Enough thinking. Let’s start making music for yoga!!!
I often get to play live in collaboration with a yoga teacher when they teach yoga.
It’s such a nice experience, and I feel it adds an extra spice to the yoga practice.
After writing music for yoga for a few years I got some dedicated yogis who seem to like my music. It’s such an amazing feeling to come and perform live for them.

Sonyas philosophy when teaching is that yoga is for everybody. Everyone is welcome to her yoga classes.

Another of my biggest inspirations is KIRBANU
She has for over ten years not only been practicing yoga and writing songs.
She has also been focusing on mindfulness practice.

Kirtan is sanskrit. Easily explained it is telling a story. Chanting it as a call-and-response.
It is also a great spice to any yoga practice or yoga class.
