A day as a Yoga teacher.
To give you “a day in my life” would be difficult. I have so many responsibilities and every day is different.
But I can do my best to take you through a typical day of mine.
I’m not just a yoga teacher. I’m a mother a wife a friend, and I juggle many tasks. I currently work a full-time job and I teach yoga a few days a week as well as balancing out my domestic duties as a wife mother and friend.
Balance can be challenging. Not to mention having the time to do my own practice and build my business. I continue to educate myself. I slowly network and create new content for my YouTube Channel. And as well as keeping up on social media with updates and inspirational content.

Morning in a day as a yoga teacher.
When I rise in the morning and I’ve had a good nights rest. I’ll start the water kettle to brew some tea.
Then I will sit in my sacred space and meditate. Then do some pranayama breathing.
My favorite practice is Kapalabhati breathing technique because it helps increase energy.
Then depending on my time I may do 10-20 minutes basic yoga practice to wake up my muscles. But it really depends on the day.
On the days that I’m teaching which I absolutely love. I get myself ready, grab my sequence book, yoga mat, and head to the gym or fitness studio. Greet the students and begin practice. I’m in a zone when I teach. Something else takes over and it feels so good. I’m very hands on assisting the students in proper alignments. We go through the hour practice and when were done everybody heads out feeling more at peace and balanced and ready to start their dayMor
I love to use music for yoga. And ofter I play the music by SONGS OF EDEN in my yoga classes.
Once class is done I’ll then run a few errands and head back home to work on content.
Some days I may be editing a new video other days I’m making a check list of things to accomplish.
A day as a Yoga teacher is not all about yoga. Other days I have so much domestic work around the house to take care of before I can have a clear mind to focus on anything yoga. Let alone working my full-time job.
When I near the end of my day I will be back in my sacred space to meditate any stress accumulated from the day.
My husband makes dinner so I’m pretty lucky he’s a chef and loves to cook.
My favorite part is when my daughters come home from work or school I get to give them bigs hugs and feel secure that they are home safe.
So to really give you an idea of the day in my life as a yoga teacher, everyday, every week every month is different.
Right now next on my list is to take a vacation to decompress so I can re-set, recharge and think of great ideas to put into motion for my next video or yoga practice or a mini yoga workshop for the near future!
